• Account Manager Outside Sales

    Job Summary: 

    The Outside Salesperson will be passionate about building strong client relationships, driving sales growth, and promoting our extensive range of high-quality flooring and trim products. As an Outside Salesperson, you will play a pivotal role in expanding our customer base and maximizing revenue within the California market. Compensation: base plus commission. 

     

    Duties and Responsibilities: 

    1. Business Development: 

    • Identify and target potential clients within the assigned territory. 

    • Conduct thorough market research to understand customer needs, preferences, and trends. 

    • Proactively seek out new business opportunities through networking, referrals, and cold calling. 

    • Attend industry events, trade shows, and exhibitions to showcase our products and services. 

     

    1. Client Relationship Management: 

    • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, understanding their ongoing needs. 

    • Provide exceptional customer service, addressing inquiries, concerns, and providing product information. 

    • Collaborate with clients to understand their flooring and trim requirements and recommend appropriate solutions. 

     Consultative Selling: 

    • Utilize in-depth product knowledge to consult with clients on the best flooring and trim options for their projects. 

    • Offer tailored recommendations and provide samples, product specifications, and pricing details. 

    • Present and explain product features, benefits, and advantages to potential clients. 

     

    1. Sales and Revenue Generation: 

    • Develop and execute effective sales strategies to achieve and exceed sales targets. 

    • Prepare and deliver persuasive sales presentations and proposals. 

    • Negotiate terms, pricing, and contracts to secure orders and agreements. 

     

    1. Pipeline Management: 

    • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of sales activities, leads, and opportunities in the CRM system. 

    • Forecast and track sales performance, providing regular reports to management. 

     

    1. Collaboration and Communication: 

    • Work closely with the internal teams, including design, operations, and customer support, to ensure seamless customer experiences. 

    • Communicate effectively with colleagues to share market insights, customer feedback, and sales progress. 

     

    Qualifications and Requirements: 

    • Proven track record in outside sales, preferably within the trim, flooring, construction, or related industry. 

    • Strong understanding of different types of flooring materials, trims, and installation processes. 

    • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal. 

    • Results-driven mindset with a proven ability to meet and exceed sales targets. 

    • Exceptional negotiation and presentation abilities. 

    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build and maintain client relationships. 

    • Proficient in using Microsoft Office suite, Adobe, and internal software. 

    • Ability to travel within the assigned territory as needed. 

    • Self-motivated, organized, and able to work independently. 

    • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
