BIABA PWB Presents #BreakTheBias
March 7th thru March 11th
In celebration of International Women's Day (IWD) and National Women In Construction Week, BIA-Bay Area PWB will be hosting short daily #BreakTheBias sessions to start your day off with a new mindset.
Every morning from Monday, March 7th, to Thursday, March 10th, start your morning with a 5 minute enrichment exercise (laughter, shaking, mindfulness and stretching). We will then examine and discuss one workplace bias and strategies to overcome them.
On Friday, March 11th, we will end the week on a special celebratory note. Join us with your favorite morning beverage as we connect over what we learned during the week's events. In addition, we will commit to challenge ourselves and others to address workplace biases. We would love to take a group photo and hope you'll be included!

Wrap up the week with specific examples of bias, brainstorm solutions together, and learn research-backed recommendations for what to do. Together we can commit to the actions we will take to #BreakTheBias.
