The Education Committee of the BIA Bay Area invite you to join us for a live and in person presentation on the coming 2022 California Building Code Update going into effect January 1, 2023. Experts from Harris & Sloan's will present the various changes to the Code, with a deeper dive into the effects of the Energy Code. We will then have a brief panel discussion to talk about some of the challenges and design changes we are seeing. Stay after for some networking with light food & beverages. 		Emily Bonato, Dahlin Group Emily oversees the strategy and implementation of the quality assurance processes that serve to uphold DAHLIN?s legacy in design. Emily cultivates a collaborative approach across all sectors to ensure quality and attention to detail are addressed at all levels across a project, and to confirm that the best client service is delivered.
		Kevin Clark, Rheem Manufacturing Company Kevin covers the West and Mountain regions for the Utility segment for the Rheem Water Heating Division. This Demand Generation role engages with retail, wholesale, builder, and utility channels to promote efficient and connected water heaters. He holds an MBA from Colorado State University and resides in Las Vegas with his wife and three children.
		Abe Cubano, Harris & Sloan Abe is the leader of Harris & Sloan?s Building Science & Innovation group. With over 20 years of industry knowledge and an extensive building sciences background, Abe to play an important role in advancing the firm?s holistic approach to building design. He is currently focused on working with our builder / trade partners to develop cost-effective solutions to the industry?s increasing Energy Efficiency requirements while simultaneously working alongside manufacturers and policy makers to bring innovative products to market, while bridging the gap between all parties along the way. In addition to his work in today construction industry, Abe is actively engaged with many policy making groups, acting as an advocate to ensure builder voices are heard. These efforts are invaluable in the firm?s mission to support the construction industry as it continues to evolve and develop the H&S brand of collaboration and broad-based solutions.
