John Burns is the CEO of John Burns Real Estate Consulting, a large consulting firm and independent research provider focused on the housing industry. John leads a team that enables the profitable development and ownership of the best places to live in the world through great research for industry executives and their investors. Dean Wehrli is the firm's Northern California Consulting Senior VP. Dean manages residential and commercial real estate consulting assignments across the country and has more than 16 years of experience in real estate, including economic and consumer research. He is our expert on the Bay Area, Sacramento, the Central Valley, and Northern Nevada. His work has spanned almost 20 states and over 60 markets, and his experience as a seasoned analyst is just as widespread. From a few lots of multi-million dollar custom homes to a 7,000 unit master plan and everything in between, Dean has consulted on a huge variety of developments.
