The BIA|Bay Area Education Committee presents a four part webinar series,
What's the Future of Building? We are excited to announce the panelists for the first webinar Building Innovation:

In this series we look at the upcoming 2022 code update.  In 2006 AB32, the California Global Warming Solutions Act, made California the first state to cap greenhouse gas emissions.  In 2008 SB375 was the nation’s first law to reduce greenhouse gas emissions by controlling sprawl. 2010 saw the introduction of the first-in-the-nation mandatory Green Building Standards Code. All of these actions set the course for Net Zero energy homes by 2020. This goal was postponed.  Come hear from a panel of experts on what is coming with the next code, how this may effect the planning of our communities and homes, and hear from a builder who is doing this successfully now.

                          Moderator: Bridgit Koller, Lennar Homes
                        BIABA Education Committee Chair
