2020 PWB Fundraiser - Cocktails & Costumes
Join Rebecca Pinnell as she teaches a virtual cocktail class aimed to help you create cocktails in your home with depth and balance. Added below is a “shopping” list detailing ingredients and tools that you can gather to have ready at the start of class. We will be making the cocktails step by step, at the same time together. This virtual class has been designed to be engaging, entertaining, and full of tips on how to continue to make delicious cocktails in your home.To celebrate two classic cocktails, Rebecca will guide us through crafting a Smash and Whiskey Sour. We will make a fall fruit and tea syrup for the Smash paired with fresh lemon juice. The Whiskey sour will celebrate fall featuring ripe grapefruit and maple. This cocktail can be made with or without an egg white or with aquafaba, the liquid from a can of chickpeas. Both cocktails will taste delicious when made with bourbon, scotch, rum, tequila or vodka.Rebecca Pinnell is a cocktail evangelist and has taught over 100 cocktail classes since shelter in place in March. Recently, she was the bar manager at San Francisco’s Bon Voyage!, and previously worked in New York at Dante. You can visit her website at rebeccapinnell.com
ALL proceeds will fund scholarships to students pursuing a career in the home building industry. Can't make the event, but would still like to make a donation. Just click the link to register a donate ONLY option is available.
