• Zone 7 Seeks Developer Input

  • The Zone 7 Water Agency invites developers to attend a stakeholder meeting with its cost allocation study consultants in Livermore from 2-4 p.m. on July 30, 2019. The agency has hired West Yost Associates to recommend how to split the costs of constructing water supply reliability projects between existing users through water rates and future users through connection fees. Potential projects include the Los Vaqueros Reservoir expansion and recycled water. The meeting will be held at 100 N. Canyons Parkway in Livermore. Topics for discussion include the purpose of the study, cost allocation principles and future water supply project benefits. Zone 7 supplies treated drinking water to retailers serving approximately 220,000 people in Pleasanton, Livermore, Dublin and Dougherty Valley area. It also supplies untreated water for irrigation of 3,500 acres, primarily South Livermore Valley vineyards. Please RSVP to Zone 7 Financial Analyst JaVia D. Green at jgreen@zone7water.com or 925-454-5026. For other questions or comments, contact BIA’s Lisa Vorderbrueggen at lvorderbrueggen@biabayarea.org.
