Public safety impact fees on new development will increase 15 percent under a proposed rate adjustment set to go before the Tracy City Council on Oct. 1, 2019. The fees include fire, police and communications facilities along with a program administrative charge. Under the change, total public safety impact fees for residential low density will increase from $1,529 per unit to $1,762 per unit.
