• Solano County Hikes Public Facilities Fee

  • The Solano County Board of Supervisors okayed a 3 percent hike in the county’s public facilities fee charged to new single-family development, Starting on Oct. 6, 2019, the rate will increase by $301 per unit, from $8,962 to $9,263. The fee will drop 1 percent, however, for multi-family homes and accessory dwelling units and 9 percent for senior age-restricted housing. The public facilities fee helps pay for transportation, public protection, health and social services, library and general government improvements.
