• San Jose Riparian Corridor Policy/Ordinance Study

  • Since June of 2015 the City of San Jose has been conducting a study of current riparian corridor development policies and proposed ordinance and policy amendments. On Monday, March 7, 2016 the Transportation and Environment Committee, a subcommittee of the City Council will review the Riparian Corridor Policy/Ordinance Study Work Plan. Staff, responding to Council, stakeholder, and community input, has proposed actions that with certain exceptions would result in an overall tightening of restrictions against building within a 100 ft riparian corridor setback.
