The San Jose Economic Development & Housing Department staff will host a workshop to review a “framework” for major development fees for multi-family residential projects on Wednesday, March 4 at San Jose City Hall, 3rd floor, Room T-332. The stated goal of the new “framework” will be to make estimating project fees easier for the development community and to provide greater public transparency. Additionally, a draft of the updated Inclusionary Housing Ordinance along with a new program to incentivize density for small projects (5 – 19 d/u) will be presented.
