• Proposed Reductions in 2015 Fremont Development Impact Fees

  • The City of Fremont has released its 2015 updated draft development impact fees for fire, capital facilities, parks and transportation with many fee categories actually seeing reductions and only a few fees slated to increase. The fee update was completed to reflect the recently adopted citywide land use planning documents (e.g., General Plan Update and Warm Springs/South Fremont Community Plan) that anticipate development through year 2035. The Fremont City Council’s scheduled public hearing on the Development Impact Fee Update 2015 is on May 5, 2015, starting at 7 p.m. in the City Council Chambers, 3300 Capitol Ave. in Fremont.
