• Pleasanton Resumes East Specific Plan Work

  • The Pleasanton City Council will discuss how to proceed with work on the East Pleasanton Specific Plan during its meeting on Nov. 19, 2019. The city halted the planning effort in 2015 despite having spent three years developing the plan. But faced with competing applications submitted to Alameda County, the council recently revived the project. Additionally, Ponderosa Homes has secured agreements with the planning area’s major property owners including Kiewit Infrastructure Company and is taking the lead — and financing the work — on behalf of the landowners. The East Pleasanton planning area consists of 1,100 acres including quarry sites that were active up until 1998. Click HERE to view the agenda and staff report.
