At BIA|Bay Area members’ request, Oakley updated its park and traffic impact fee nexus studies and the results are mixed. City staff released the draft updates during a stakeholders meeting on March 6, 2017, which recommend an 18.5 percent reduction in the traffic fee and a 15 percent increase in the park fee.

Click here to download the park fee update. BIA|Bay Area will submit a comment letter prior to a scheduled City Council fee workshop on March 14, 2017. The city expects to schedule a public fee hearing on April 11, 2017, and, if adopted, the new fees would go into effect on July 1, 2017.
