In direct response to BIA|Bay Area and its members’ comments, Oakley city staff withdrew a proposed 15 percent increase — $1,437 per single family house — in its park impact fees and directed its consultant to revise the nexus study. Staff anticipates that when the updated analysis is completed, the park fee will remain the same or perhaps drop. The comments came during a City Council meeting on March 14, 2017, where BIA|Bay Area provided an an in-depth comment letter on the staff’s park and traffic impact fee study updates.
