The Morgan Hill City Council is scheduled to hold a public hearing April 3, 2019 with the intent to adopt increases to development impact fees, to be effective July 1, 2019. The fees cover a fairly wide variety of future public facilities including fees for traffic, parks, libraries, water and storm. The City commissioned a nexus study by Wildan that has determined the combined maximum legally defensible fee levels would be over $53,000 for a single family home (38% increase over current) and $41,000 for a multifamily unit (28% increase over current).
