On Tuesday, March 14th the Los Altos Council voted unanimously to adopt an 8 month development moratorium extension on El Camino Real. A letter citing legal objection from BIA General Counsel and a letter outlining BIA policy objections were submitted along with testimony at the public hearing. Upon advice from the Los Altos City Attorney that the legal objections raised by BIA Bay Area did not apply to the proposed moratorium extension, council voted to approve the staff recommended moratorium.
