The Ironhouse Sanitary District in Oakley will hold a public hearing on May 29, 2019, to consider increases in its trunkline and plant capacity fees based on changes in the Engineering News-Record Construction Cost Index for the San Francisco Bay Area region. Under the planned adjustment, the trunkline fee will increase by $25.58 to $1,009.59 per equivalent dwelling unit or EDU. The plant capacity fee will rise $133.13 to $5,253.19 per equivalent dwelling unit. The new rates will go into effect on July 1, 2019. The district serves Oakley, Bethel Island, Jersey Island and the Holland Tract. The meeting begins at noon at the district’s offices, 450 Walnut Meadows Drive in Oakley.
