• Housing Dominates Hollister City Council Special Meeting

  • Growth limit law, housing impact fees, and parks fees make up the agenda for February 25th at the Hollister City Council. Council will receive a report and provide direction on the Growth Management Ordinance, the City’s most recent effort to limit housing production. As covered in last week’s Report, the State HCD recently sent the GMO back to the City for more work. Also on the agenda is a draft impact fee study that would potentially raise current fees on sewer, water, parks, fire, and libraries. $40,000 in current SFH impact fees may jump up 40% to about $55,000.
