The Hercules City Council is scheduled to incorporate on March 13, 2018, updated fire facility impact fees that have already been approved by the Rodeo-Hercules Fire Protection District. The single-family residential rate will increase $700 per unit, or 68 percent, up from $1,029 per unit to $1,729 per unit. The multi-family rate will rise $398 per unit, or 60 percent, up from $662 per unit to $1,060 per unit. The Rodeo-Hercules Fire Protection District established the fees by resolution on Jan. 11, 2018. Once approved, the new rates will go into effect immediately.
