The California Department of Housing and Community Development (HCD) will host a community meeting in Santa Rosa on Oct. 2, 2018, to discuss post-wildfire recovery funding programs for local governments and organizations that provide long-term assistance for housing, infrastructure and economic revitalization. HCD is administering federal disaster funding authorized by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development for victims of wildfires, mud and debris flows. The first of five such meetings scheduled for locations around the state, the Bay Area forum will be held from 6-8 p.m. at the City of Santa Rosa Utilities Field, Operations Center Utilities Training Rooms A, F & M, 35 Stony Point Road in Santa Rosa.
