Final election results are finally in and the outcome in several Contra Costa County races has changed since our last update in mid-November. In Richmond, former Councilman Nate Bates edged out Vinay Pimple by 9 votes and took the third available seat. And Martinez Councilwoman Debbie McKillop has prevailed, beating her challenger John Stevens by 24 votes. Click HERE to download and view an updated East Bay list of races and the outcomes. Based on information provided in candidate questionnaires, a series of forums and input from the East Bay Regional Policy Committee, the BUILD JOBS PAC made financial contributions to campaigns working on behalf of 38 candidates totaling nearly $22,000. The outcome was very positive with 24, or 63 percent, of BIA-supported candidates winning their elections.
