Residential developers in Western Dublin face transportation impact fee increases ranging from 29 percent to 49 percent under a proposal set to go before city leaders on Sept. 6, 2016. The single-family rate will rise 49 percent from $2,668 per unit to $3,969, or $1,301. Multi-family fees will increase 29 percent to 32 percent or between $464 to $592 per unit depending on density. The fee hikes are the result of changes in how the city will calculate the traffic impacts and the addition of specific road projects. If approved, the new fees will go into effect in 60 days or early November.
