In an effort to assist California veterans find stable affordable housing, the California Veterans Housing and Homelessness Prevention Program will award $75 million to qualifying developers and nonprofit entities to construct, acquire, rehabilitate or preserve affordable multifamily housing for veterans and their families. As a service to potential applicants, staff will conduct application workshops throughout the state and host a webinar. A workshop will be held in Oakland on May 23, 2018, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Elihu Harris State Building, 1516 Clay Street in Oakland. Click HERE to register.
