Contra Costa County is seeking master developers for redevelopment projects in Bay Point and Rodeo. The first is the 7.6-acre Orbisonia Heights Redevelopment site located in the Pittsburg/Bay Point BART Station planning area southeast of the Highway 4/Bailey Road interchange in the unincorporated community of Bay Point. The county envisions a residential mixed-use, transit oriented development and wrote that the project “represents an exciting opportunity for the (county) to enter into a public/private partnership with an experienced developer,” according to the county notice. The Rodeo site involves a proposed residential mixed-use development and town plaza for Site 1.
