• Central Contra Costa Sanitary District Recommends Fee Changes

  • The Central Contra Costa Sanitary District staff is proposing a mix of fee hikes and reductions to go into effect on July 1, 2015. While residential capacity or connection charges would increase only slightly, the district is seeking broad changes in its other fees. For example, a basic application fee would go up 16.5 percent from $115 to $134; the annexation fee would increase 8 percent from $485 to $524; and a mainline plan review would rise from $2,506 to $3,246, or 29.5 percent. The district will host an informal outreach meeting to discuss the proposed fee changes at 10 a.m., May 28, 2015, at 5019 Imhoff Place in Martinez. The district board is scheduled to vote on the fee plan at its 7 p.m. meeting on June 4, 2015.
