• BIA Seeks Builder Involvement in EBMUD Meeting

  • The East Bay Municipal Utility District has agreed to meet with BIA members and discuss a variety of policy and technical issues of mutual interest. In order to prepare for the forum, BIA asks members to submit requested agenda items. Please email BIA’s Lisa Vorderbrueggen at lvorderbrueggen@biabayarea.org with your requested items no later than Thursday, Feb. 14, 2019. Information about the meeting date, time and location will be published in a future Weekly Report. EBMUD's water system serves approximately 1.4 million people in a 332-square-mile area extending from Crockett on the north, southward to San Lorenzo (encompassing the major cities of Oakland and Berkeley), eastward from San Francisco to Walnut Creek, and south through the San Ramon Valley. The wastewater system serves approximately 685,000 people in an 88-square-mile area of Alameda and Contra Costa counties along the Bay's east shore, extending from Richmond on the north, southward to Oakland.
