• Antioch Revisits Sand Creek Plan

  • Citing the current general plan’s incompatibility with market trends, the Antioch Planning Commission will host a public hearing on a proposed update to the 2,800-acre Sand Creek Focus Area. At a workshop set for March 16, 2016, the commission will take public comment on proposed changes to density, lot sizes and hillside protection contained within five scenarios that range from 2,600 to 3,900 residential units and offer varying amenities. The current general plan permits up to 4,000 residential units. Click here to download the agenda and staff report.
