Alameda is scheduled to increase its development impact fees by 2.6 percent on July 1, 2019,, per the change in the Engineering News Record Construction Cost Index. The annual adjustment will mean a $476 per unit increase to a total of $18,870 for a single-family unit and a $377 per unit hike to a total of $14,865 per multi-family unit. The total includes impact fees for public safety, general public facilities, transportation and parks.
