On Thursday, December 13, 2018 the ACWD Board will review revised staff and consultant recommendations regarding its primary development-related charges and direct staff to prepare an ordinance raising fees on all new development in the District. The meeting will be held at the ACWD Board Room, 43885 S. Grimmer Blvd., Fremont, CA 94538. Prior staff and consultant studies have proposed residential fees of over $11,000 per single family unit (up from $7,500) and over $9,300 for multifamily units (up from $6,000). BIA has conducted a robust engagement with ACWD staff in discussions regarding policy and data applied to the new fee methodology, and BIA has commissioned Development Financial Advisory (DFA) to review ACWD materials along with the Raftelis consultant study.
