Mary Spicer's Expertise >
Drawing from decades of experience as a design leader in tech, a female entrepreneur, and a coach since 2005, Mary has worked with over a thousand people in a holistic way to ignite the power everyone has to heal and transform themselves.
Mary started her teaching, mentoring, and coaching business in 2005, after many years in digital design and strategy. She received a Master's Certification in Intuition Medicine®, a 3-year program in energy medicine, which works with the nervous system and the energetics of the body to help clients get in touch with internal patterning. Additionally, she completed training in Trauma and Somatic Experience, a body-oriented approach to the healing of trauma and other stress disorders. She is certified in Advanced Restorative Yoga instruction and she is a CPR-trained American Canoe Association SUP Instructor. Mary has worked with more than a thousand clients to help them release internal limitations and free themselves.
Before coaching, Mary launched a career in design and branding at WIRED Magazine/Hotwired. Later, she co-founded and led one of the first female web design and development agencies in San Francisco. In that role, she worked with Gloria Steinem on human rights advocacy and helped to brand and offer strategic insight to an organization that helps women achieve success in politics. Mary worked with clients to successfully pitch VC's, created web design trends and worked with a large team of inventive, visionary creatives. Her clients include Wired Magazine, MTV, Adobe, Hewlett Packard, and American Express.
Mary is currently Marketing Director at Hunt Hale Jones Architects and a member of PWB.
