• Vacaville To Embark on Impact Fee Study

  • Vacaville staff will ask the City Council to authorize spending $115,000 on a contract with Economic & Planning Systems (EPS) to perform a comprehensive update of the city’s development impact fee studies. BIA|Bay Area’s Lisa Vorderbrueggen has been in discussions with city staff and has been assured that our members will be included in planned stakeholder meetings. Vacaville reported collecting $17 million in 10 impact fee areas in 2016-17 including fire, general facilities, greenbelt preservation, parks, recreation, police, sewer, traffic, water and stormwater drainage. The city anticipates the study and report will be completed in January 2019 with recommendations going to the City Council.
