• San Ramon Moves to Hike Five Impact Fees

  • San Ramon city staff are proposing inflationary hikes in five development impact fees along with an increase in the city’s planning services billable hourly rate. The San Ramon City Council Finance Committee will review the fee recommendations at its meeting on March 12, 2018. Under the proposal — which includes a host of citywide fee changes — the planning services hourly rate will rise from $154.50 per hour to $160 per hour. The five impact fees will rise between 3 percent and 3.5 percent based on the Engineering News Report’s Construction Cost Index: North Camino Ramon Specific Plan, Westside Specific Plan, School Age Child Care Fee, Park and Recreation Facility Impact Fee, and Traffic Mitigation Fee. The committee’s final recommendations will go to the City Council for final adoption at a later date. Click HERE to view the staff report.
