Mountain View’s EPC will review the Annual Housing Element Progress Report on Wednesday, March 21, 2018. As in many other jurisdictions around the Bay Area, Mountain View continues to see market rate housing unit construction that strongly exceeds RHNA requirements. However the City fails to experience nearly the same level of affordable housing development, producing a skimpy 14% of its very low unit allocation and 0% of moderate deed restricted unit allocation.
