The Emeryville Planning Commission is scheduled to hold on May 28, 2015, a follow-up study session on proposed multi-family development regulations, incentives and guidelines intended to make projects more “family-friendly.” The proposed package also includes affordable housing and ownership housing incentives through a bonus point system. Earlier this year, BIA and its partners successfully blocked a proposed moratorium that would have been effect while the city deliberated ways to increase ownership housing in the city. The meeting begins at 6:30 p.m. in Emeryville City Hall, 1333 Park Ave. in Emeryville.
