The district's rate-setting policy provides for an annual review of water rates, fees, and charges to ensure that sufficient funding is available to meet its expenses as reflected in its 2018-2027 Capital Improvement Program, Ten-Year Financial Plan and operating budget. The proposed increase would result in the following fee changes for a ⅝” meter: the treated water charge would increase from $20,442 to $20,885, or $442, per meter and for raw water service, the charge would increase from $5,443 to $5,489, or $46, per meter.
