Topics to be covered include (1) Residential and mixed-use real estate economics, understanding factors that affect costs and returns of development (2) Cost of development in San Jose – breakdown of fees and taxes charged by the City on new development (3) Residential development models, examples of development prototypes and projects, with discussion of how total City fees and taxes can affect financial visibility.
