• ACWD Proposes Fee Hikes

  • The Alameda County Water District board will review on Feb. 8, 2018, a proposed 2.2 percent connection fee increase that will bring the total capacity charge for a single-family residential meter from $7,175 to $7,323, a change of $148 per meter. The district is also planning to increase its hydrant flow test charge 3.6 percent from $238 to $247 per field test. If adopted, the new rates go into effect on May 1, 2018.
