City staff will present proposed capital facility, transportation and affordable housing impact fee increases to the Pleasanton City Council during a workshop set for Sept. 4, 2018. If adopted as recommended, the new rates would add roughly $22,000 per unit to the cost of constructing a home here. BIA|Bay Area’s Lisa Vorderbrueggen submitted a comment letter that outlined a number of concerns with the fee proposal ranging from the impacts on housing affordability to the applicability of specific capital projects identified for funding with impact fees.
