    Danville Development and Real Estate, Inc., an affiliated company of Pacific InterWest, is seeking a Project Administrative Assistant to join our Northern California team.   This position will be based in our corporate office located in Walnut Creek, CA.
     
    Danville Development and Real Estate, Inc. is a residential real estate development company with vast experience in the building industry. The company designs, entitles, and completes the land development for all types of residential communities throughout California.  Danville Development partners with and provides project management and consulting services to equity groups to develop finish lots for some of the top builders in the nation.
     
    Our organization is seeking a Project Administrative Assistant to provide support to our project management and purchasing team. 
     
    Duties and Responsibilities:
     
    • Provide Administrative support to project management, construction management and purchasing teams. 
    • Coordinate meetings and conference calls.  Prepare meeting agendas and minutes.
    • Assist in the preparation of subcontracts, purchase orders, change orders and bidding documents.
    • Enroll subcontractors in WRAP/OCIP policies. Maintain and track compliance for certificates of insurance.
    • Assist with the preparation of reports, schedules and analyses for Project Management, Land Acquisition, or other departments within the company.
    • In conjunction with the Accounting Department, set up and maintain project budgets using approved templates and project related reporting forms.
    • Organize and maintain project-related paperwork and correspondence. 
    • Other administrative duties, as assigned.
     
    Qualifications:
     
    • Intermediate Microsoft Word and Excel skills.  Adobe Acrobat and MS Project experience is preferred.
    • 1-3 years of experience in construction or a related industry. 
    • Strong organizational skills.  Extremely detail oriented, organized, and able to manage several projects at the same time with speed and accuracy.
    • Ability to handle issues with diplomacy and regularly exercise discretion and independent judgement.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
    • Self-motivated, responsible, and reliable.
    • Ability to work independently and with a team.
