Mayor Sam Liccardo has convened an Ad-Hoc Committee on Development Services to focus on expediting the permitting process for major projects and small businesses. The use of technology to streamline permit approvals is a key strategy. Vice Mayor Rose Herrera, Councilmember Raul Peralez, Councilmember Manh Nguyen and Councilmember Johnny Khamis will also serve on the committee. The first meeting of the Ad Hoc Committee was held August 25th and attended by several members of the building industry.
