The Economic Benefits of Housing in California

The California Homebuilding Foundation released its second major study in 2008, titled The Economic Benefits of Housing in California. This is the third update of the original 2004 report analyzing the economic impact new-home construction and the broader housing industry has on the California economy. You can view the report online or order a hard copy by contacting the Foundation office at (916) 340-3340. CBIA will be broadly releasing the report to policymakers, the media, our members, and BIA/HBAs in the next couple of weeks.
